Hello Lightning Tamers!
This weeks Weekly Picks are of the plasma, Neon, and Light works displayed during the Glass Art Society Conference in Murano, Itlay at Fondazione Berego Exhibtion Space by Berengo Studio. The GAS conference opened up Murano in a way that has not been before, with 1800 glass artists and enthusiasts on the island. Originally this exhibiton was only scheduled to be up during the Conference, but the owner of the Exhibtion Space was so amazed by the works that will be on display until November. We've made quite an impact with our small exhibition. Many of attendees and locals alike have never seen anything like it. The use of plasma neon is brand new experince to those working within the framework of "traditional" glassblowing as a craft and artistic medium.
Also note, that I've split all the images/video form the exhibtion into three posts per instagrams image/video limit.
While Taming Lighting is a Neon and Plasma dominant interest, I've chosen to include those works wthin the exhibtion using other forms of light. Enjoy! Percy Echols II Taming ⚡Lightning
