It's been a busy summer, and their haven't be many updates of what I've been up to. I have to say that my experience at Ox-bow School of Art with Kim Harty and Charlotte Potter, and Pilchuck Glass School with Ben Cobb and Ann Wahlstrom, have definitely been enriching and greatly appreciated. There's so much to be taken in from all the amazing people I've met and worked with, that I'm honestly still sorting through and organizing the thousands of notes, images and video taken. There should be an update on that some where in late September.
On to other news, late (l know), but a few of my friends an I have some of our work in an exhibition that opening this weekend at Atmosphere Gallery at Neusole Glassworks. Information is below on the flyer. Please drop by if you can.

My session at Ox-Bow with Jeff Mack was pretty intense. There was so much to learn from this man but, just not enough time. For those who don't know. Jeff Mack's work, in a nutshell, focuses on a historical Venetian glass vessels forms and his exploration of taking an encyclopedia of techniques and applications of years of glass experience in his own creative style. In his class, Nurturing Craft, we worked on developing an intuitive understanding of the glass as a material that will help soon if not later as we explore glass as our artistic medium.
